Hot Springs Soaks

Time to relax? Choose from 18 hot mineral springs to pamper and rejuvenate the body you've beat on up on all day. We know it works because the Ute Indians once bathed, healed, and soaked in the sacred waters of Hot Sulphur Springs Resort. Really want to run away from tired muscles? Schedule a full hour, complete body massage. There are many more ways to treat yourself: try an herbal body wrap, a seaweed facial or a salt glow rub. Purchase your ticket from the Outpost and save.

Murder Mystery Getaways

If you have ever wanted to kill someone, this getaway may be your chance to do just that. This fun and suspense filled weekend gives guests the opportunity to play a part in committing and solving a murder. We also have roles for those who prefer not to participate ... like the victim. Here is how it works:

• Once you have made your reservations, we will send you a personality profile to complete and send back to us.

• Each profile will include an entree choice for Saturday night's dinner.

• After we have gathered all of the profiles, we will assign you a role and send it to you along with the list of characters and the plot.

• You will be given suggested attire and behavior with your role.

The weekend begins on Friday night with a dessert buffet served from 8:00pm until 9:00pm. Everyone will be wearing a tag with his or her character's name. You will get to meet all the other guests and begin to figure out who is a villain and who is a hero, who dies and who done it.

Saturday morning will start out with a full and elegant candlelight breakfast. You will be on your own during the day. We would be delighted to arrange for passes to the Hot Sulphur Springs Resort, complete with full body message or make a reservation for a horseback ride. Just let us know what we can do to make this a "killer" getaway! You will want to return to the Outpost by 4:30pm to have time to change into costume and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine before leaving for the murder.

The murder and the dinner will take place at The Outpost. The evening begins with a cocktail hour of passed hors d'ourves and two complimentary glasses of wine. Mingle and meet as many people as you can. Try to guess whom the victim and killer might be. Ask lots of questions and play your role to the hilt, because we are counting on you to solve this despicable crime. Sometime during the meal the poor victim will die and the real fun of solving the crime begins!

What is included? Your Murder Mystery Getaway will include a welcoming dessert buffet Friday night, Friday and Saturday night's lodging, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, dinner with wine, and the murder for a total of $320 per couple. You may add 2 passes for the Hot Springs for only $28 per couple. So get out your Sherlock hat and pipe and get on up here for a killer of a good time. Available dates are every weekend in October and the first weekend of November, last weekend in April and every weekend in May. Capacity 12 murderers.

Snow Packages

There is more to do in the mountains besides ski. For some it's hard to believe, but it's true! We've put some packages together that will prove it, and just to be sure you're good to go for the next day, we've thrown in some hot spring soaks for those weary muscles. Oh and by the way, don't worry, you will get to ski too! All you have to do is decide on how many days your getaway will be and get on up here. Prices are per person based on double occupancy.

Thanksgiving Package

This holiday package includes 2 nights lodging, breakfast each morning, wine and cheese each evening, Thanksgiving dinner for two and 2 one-day ski passes to Winter Park and Mary Jane. This entire package is only $450.00 per couple.

Christmas Special

3 nights lodging from December 23 checking out on December 26
This holiday package includes breakfast each morning, wine and cheese each evening, homemade Christmas cookies and candy galore, a marvelous Christmas tree and decorations, piano and guitar available for Christmas caroling, 2 two-day ski passes to Winter Park and Mary Jane, and a delicious prime rib Christmas dinner for two.
